Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask users who have used Quattro too

How do they compare? I currently use the UMFF as a back up mask to the Activa when I am congested. I want to know how they compare. Thanks.

I have found the Quattro to be more comfortable and to seal better than the UMFF.

Having said that, I still frequently need to switch from the Quattro to the UMFF during the night as the Quattro (or any of my other masks ) will begin to have leaks after a couple of hours. When I put the UM on it feels like an old friend!

Hope this is of assistance to you.

I switched to the Quattro FF medium sized mask about two months ago and have not gone back to my UMFF since then. The mask leak rates are good, many nights are almost flat lines on my Encore reports and this is at 16cm's of pressure (UMFF leak lines spikes all over the chart with many large leaks), AHI's are decent around 2.0 or less, three nights ago i got down to .08 which is very good. The mask started leaking a little bit at the swivel after about six weeks but i have not tried to stop it yet (teflon tape fix) the only thing i don't like is the mask lies real close to my eyes and leaves bags under the eyes from pushing the skin up under the eyes all night long.
Makes me look like i have been shot at and missed and sh----t at and hit in the morning and it takes a couple of hours for the bags to go away (somewhat embarrasing the way i look when i roll in to work) ha! ha!

I seem to have had more problems than most prople with leaks from the Quattro elbow. I'm on my second mask, fourth elbow, and still having issues. Until I get some teflon tape, I've been mostly using the UMFF.

It's odd, I used to prefer the CF2, and grudgingly rotated to a 432, or Hybrid, but rarely the UMFF, because it seemed like I got better numbers with the CF2 and more comfort with the 432. This time around, the UMFF feels about as good as the Quattro, but gets better numbers, and doesn't leak as much. I have no idea why. I have lost some weight ...
