Respironics M Bipap Auto + Adams Circuit NP/CONJO Headgear

Up until today, I have been using a Resmed s7 Lightweight CPAP and Activa Mask. Titration determined a pressure setting of 9, but I jacked that up to 12, which seems to work a little better.

I bought the Respironics Bipap Series M Auto from an individual on Craigslist and it appears to be in good condition. I intend to try it on Auto BiLevel at first just to see how well this feature works for me. Not too sure about Max IPAP and Min EPAP Settings -- Probably something like 15.0 max ipap and 4.0 min epap and maximum pressure support at 8.

I have tried several masks, including nasal masks, and still like my activa the best. My biggest problem with nasal masks is keeping the headgear in place. Due to the shape of my head, I do not appear to have a prominent notch at the base of my skull in the back of my head, so I have a hard time keeping the nasal pads and headgear in place all night (I also have to use a chin strap to prevent breathing thru my mouth). I have read that the Adams Circuit Nasal Pillows with CONJO Custom Headgear may provide a more secure mounting, so I may consider giving it a try.

I don't have any experience w/BiPAP but there are several members here that do.

Everyone's head is a bit different ... finding the right mask/headgear combo is the hardest part of the treatment.
