Bravo question

Post by ejdischer » Wed Aug 01, 2007 8:08 pm

Quick question about the Bravo. Does anyone with a large head find that the back of the headgear slips off? My only complaints about the Optilife are that 1. The back of the headgear slides off too often, and the chin support slides off as well. I have a pretty big melon, so I'm wondering if anyone's had this happen with the Bravo. I noticed unlike the Optilife, that the Bravo has an adjustment on the back, which may make it better.

I have a small head and had a major problem with it slipping off. I thought that was why, but partly it was because I was tightening the top first. The idea is to tighten the back, then tighten the top (not too much). I use a "pantyhose tights" strap to keep it from slipping off and to stabilize it. I posted photos of this previously.

My wife showed me how to do the headgear and it asnt comme loose once since then.

Fasten the back of the head first, pulled down a little more. Keep the top loose. Put pillows up your nose and then, fasten top.

Works every time.
The result is the headgear is lower on the back of your head fastened under the scullbone. The y part of the headgear is just a hair above the ear, (not an inch).

It's ok, I don't think we're being graded on these.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm gonna go ahead and order one today.
