Anyone know the leak rate for Ultra Mirage II NASAL Mask?

Post by cascade » Fri Jul 20, 2007 10:57 am

Does anyone know what the intentional leak rate is for the ResMed Ultra Mirage II Nasal (not full face) mask is?

It's not listed on the webpage often referred to here, nor is it in my mask user guide, nor can I find it on the ResMed site.

THANKS.

Cascade,

I thought I found it for you at the following link:

http://www.myresmed.com/MyResMedUS/page ... al%20Masks

However, (and you might already know this), while the mask described here is the ResMed Ultra Mirage II, the PDF is for the original Ultra Mirage Nasal mask. It's possible the pressure-flow curve would be the same or close enough to get you in the ballpark. Perhaps someone else will have better info for you. Best of luck.

Knightfall, thanks for responding but unfortunately the link doesn't work for me -- I get an error message. Would you mind telling me what the intended leak is supposed to be for the earlier version mask? I'd appreciate it. As you say, at least I may be in the ballpark until I can find the real number. Thanks.

Nope, that site only lists the FULL FACE mask.

Cascade,

Sorry that link didn't work for you. Try this:

http://www.myresmed.com/MyResMedUS/page.do

At the top of the page, click on "Products"; on the next page click on "Masks". Scroll down to the "Ultra Mirage II Nasal Mask". Under "Product Links" click on "User Manual" which will take you to a page were you can download the pdf of the manual.

If you are still having problems, let me know and I can email it to you as an attachment. As far as the intended leakage, you'll have to take your treatment pressure and interpret it from the graph.

Ken
