Does anyone know how to access the clinical menu to change the pressure on an older Respironic Bipap Pro machine.

Bob

I don't have that model but from what I have seen in the past on this board, You hold down the top two buttons and while holding them down you plug it in. Must hold the buttons 4/5 seconds until machine beeps.

Saw these instructions somewhere:

Bi-Pap Pro Pressure Changes

Enter the Therapy Setup Menu by holding the two top user buttons down while plugging in the power cord. Hold the buttons down until the unit beeps. You cannot turn the airflow on while you are in this menu. When you exit this menu, the Patient Setup Menu will be displayed.

The Display Language will appear. If the language is correct, press the button below YES to accept, or press the button under NO to select the correct language, then press the button below YES to accept.

The Operation Mode will appear. Respond in the same manner as above.

The Comfort Control Parameter will appear if you chose bilevel mode. This adjustment sets the time between inhalation and exhalation, with 1 being the shortest time. To change this setting, press the button below +1 until the setting you want appears. Press the button below YES to confirm.

The Bi-FLEX level will appear. If you chose bi-flex mode, this setting will appear. This feature adjusts bilevel therapy by inserting a small amount of pressure relief during the latter stages of inspiration and during active exhalation (the beginning part of exhalation). Setting at 1 is the lowest amount of pressure relief. To change this setting, press the button below +1 until the setting you want appears. Press the button below YES to confirm.

IPAP and EPAP Pressure settings will display. To change the pressure, press the button below +1 until the setting you want appears. Press the button below YES to confirm. The IPAP pressure cannot be set below the EPAP pressure.

Other settings, such as Ramp, alarms, etc. will appear. Respond as above with YES to confirm each one. The last setting is Therapy Hours.

To exit the Therapy Setup Menu, press the button below YES when prompted by SAVE and EXIT? in the display screen.
