My humidity is set on 2 out of 4. Everytime I turn it up past 2 i get a LOT of condensation in my mask. I have a heated hose as well. Just wondering if its my air conditioner that is causing me the problem. Any input??
no air conditioner?

If you live in one of the desert states (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Western Texas) and are using an evaporative cooler (swamp cooler), yes, you may need to turn your humidifier down. I had to turn mine from 3 to 1½ (out of 5) when I started leaving the swamp cooler on overnight.
If you live elsewhere and have refrigerated air (normal a/c), then the a/c would tend to make the air drier, not moister, *but* it may be because the air in your room is too cold so you could try turning down the a/c (by which I mean, making the room warmer).
But why do you want to turn your humidifier up? Is the setting of 2 causing you problems?
(And yes, DreamStalker may be correct. Are you sure the heated hose is working?)
