Quote from Snoredog from a previous posting trail... Wasn't sure he was serious or sarcastic about recommending the Sleeptracker watch/alarm clock.
My sleep doctor told me yesterday that people awaken during deep sleep do not wake up rested, and feel "hungover", like I do most mornings, even though my AHI is in the 1-2 range. He said I sleep too much (hypersomnia) and I may have my alarm set up in the deep stage of the extra sleep cycles I am going through (most people have 4-5 sleep cycles per night, as I understand it... and people who sleep too much keep going instead of waking up...).
Anyhow, being able to control what cycle you are in when you are awaken by an alarm clock seems like a good idea, but I am not sure the "sleeptracker" is a gadget or really doing the job... (It's $150, so, I'd rather not spend that money on a useless gadget!)
Have any of you tried it?
Thanks

Ooops, sorry... should have done the topic search before sending that post...
A couple of posting trails showed up (2005 and early this year), with two reviews, one positive, one negative. That figures! Still, if anyone has tried it, let me know... Especially if you have a bed partner who wakes up before you, or noise/pets/noisy bed partners (!) that might disrupt your sleep and get you in an "almost awake mode" before you are ready!
Thanks.

I actually wanted one after reading about them on here, I thought it might help me a lot. So I waited and bid on on one "nearly new" on eBay for $50... It's not here yet but I will post what I think about it once I have a chance to try it out.
