Remstar Auto and Bipap Auto.

Post by javaide » Sat Jun 09, 2007 4:58 am

I had earlier requested for guidance of the worthy members of this wonderful forum on the respective merits of Remstar Auto in juxtaposition to Bipap Auto of Respironics.

I would like to reiterate, that there has been some discussions on this forum on the merits of newly introduced Remstar Auto CPAP with A Flex. The Titrator whilst making his expert analyses formed the view, that the merits of A flex approximated to that of Bipap Auto. I would request for a categorical finding whether in the circumstances, Bipap Auto is either equal or better to Remstar auto with C flex, leaving aside the question of price of Bipap Auto. I anxiously wait for guidance. Thanks.

The choice is a challenge allowing that we have such little feedback on the A-flex.

But the description of Aflex is that it provides close to BiLevel relief & avoids the complexity of the ipap & epap floating independantly as happens in the BiPap Auto.

Just my 0.2 cents worth but I'd go with the Auto A-Flex.

Good luck
