resmed software

I got my resmed S8 elite today. Fully data capable. Problem is that the doctor doesnt care to read it or do anything with it. I have the card...but it will just sit and gather dust if I leave it to the dr.
So have seen the card reader on cpap.com for like $60. What software do you need to go with that....and where can you get it?

How can we get a hold of AutoScan 5.7. And is that just a standard serial cable that goes from the computer to the machine in order to download the data?

I am interested in the above info. Also, does it give detailed info on AHI without the Reslink module on a VPAP III ST?
