After almost 4 months of sleeping better than I had in years, I am now back to waking up every 1-2 hours all night. My husband says I do NOT snore and I use my CPAP/mask religiously!! When I wake up, I have a full bladder all the time. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. I am on antibiotics for a UTI and will be on a maintainance dosage for a long time.
My pressure is set at 10 but I was wondering if I should "raise it" to 11. I hate playing around with anything a doctor prescribes however. I am uncertain what to do. The sleep tests were done for free because we didn't have the money for them and the insurance is horrible.
I am grumpy and getting depressed from never sleeping through the night.
TIA,
Louise

I've noticed that I too recently have sort of "hit the wall". I immediately took to this cpap thing, slept great and had little to no adjustment period at all. In the past two or three weeks, I've been waking up twice a night, when before only once a night. I guess that's still not bad, but I'm wondering, what happened to cause me to awaken more. It still beats every two hours like I was before cpap and waking every time with a full bladder and acid reflux like crazy. I'm at least not seeing that sort of thing.
Water?
I stop drinking water around 3-4 hours before going to bed to help reduce the need to get up so many times in the night. Just a thought : )
