Need Encore Pro Assistance - full details of ZZZ's

Post by gknee » Mon May 21, 2007 11:24 pm

I bought Encore Pro version 1.8.49 and have not been able to retrieve details about my sleep each night. So far the only info I've gotten off the card is compliance data.

Do I need to adjust any settings on my CPAP - REMstarPRO M Series? Or are there special software options I need to select?

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Jeanne

When you go to get the report, do the following.

1) Double click on the interaction.
2) Click on Full details
3) Then click on ok.

Otherwise you're just generating a compliance report.

Thanks! I was finally able to see the details but now the challenge is to figure out what all the data means.

SLEEP THERAPY LONG TERM TREND:
5/8/07 - 5/19/07
CPAP 7.0
Average Obstructive Apnea Index 1.0
Average Hypopnea Index 1.2
Average AHI 2.2
Average Vibratory Snore Index 10.5
Average Max Leak 120.0
Average 90% Leak 42.4
Average Leak 35.4
Average Large Leak 0 mins

Any tips on modifications I should make to optimize my treatment?

look carefully as your leak graph - your swift leaks for that pressure are a tad high

The leaks look alot high to me. For your mask a leak of 35.4 is a pressure of 11 - 11.5. You have to fix the leaks. Don't go changing pressures until you get those leaks under control. Could you be mouth breathing? If you're not sure you can tape your mouth for a night or two to see if it makes a difference. Your other numbers look good. But if you fix the leaks the snoring may go down too.
