Just received my new MV-nasal mask, tired it on and it works great. I have been using the old CC nasal mask, it has worked great, but puts too much pressure on the sines passages. The new Vista put very little pressure on the nose and allows for less restrictive breathing, at least for me it does, may be for others it might be different. Will give it a try tonight. Has any one else used this mask? If so, how do you like it and does it hold up under everyday use? My CC-mask is very durable, I hope the Vista will be too.

Thanks for the information. I will give it a try tonight. When I tried it on this afternoon under pressure, it seemed to work pretty well without any leaks. I quess I will find out just how good or bad it is when I go to sleep tonight, will give a review on it tomorrow after one full nights uses.Snoredog wrote:I have one in my dud drawer, lots of leaks, noisy, hard plastic on head gear digs into your ear lobe. Air delivery is poor.
Others have had the same problem, probably why it is not a very popular interface.

I tried the Vista at the DME's and it was too big for me. They've come out w/a Kidsta that is smaller and I'd thought about asking to try one ... but then tried the Simplicity Petite and think I've found "my" simple nasal cushion mask - just gotta do a "fix" on the headgear - its sized for a Giant!

I Love My Vista!
This is a mask that is not supposed to be really tight. The mask seal is made to "float" on your face. The pressure helps it seal. When I first turn my machine on at night, the initialization is, a leak. But, as soon as the mask gets full of air, the seal fills, and the leak stops. I have not had a single large leak since I figured this mask out. My biggest complaint has been the strap around the neck, until I figured out that it didn't have to be extremely tight, and I made some home made pads for it.
This is my go to mask. I have been on CPAP since January and I have had 5 masks. This is by far my favorite.

Review of Vista masks
My first night using the MV nasal mask was pretty good, not great, but good. I slept OK, but found that the high flow rate of this mask, as compared to my CC nasal mask through off my max CM setting. I actually needed more CM for this mask, so will increase the max CM a little, the min was fine. Also found that the head gear did want to ride up on the ear lobs, solved that problem, just cut off the lobs....just kidding. What I did this morning was to place my ear lobs under the head gear, worked fine, also had a few leaks during the night, but not to bad, just adjusted the top and back head straps a little tighter, but still lose enough not to cause discomfort. Will give it a try again tonight and see if the changes I made help. Has anyone else tried moving the head straps over the ear lobs instead of under, like the instructions call for? I tried it for about an hour before I got up and it seemed to work fine, will try again tonight and see what happens. I do like this mask better than the CC mask, but the CC mask really does work for me, except for it restricting air flow through the nose.
