Post by sloizeaux » Thu May 17, 2007 11:57 am

Does anyone know if and how often you should have your machine checked for accuracy and tuned up if necessary ?

Hi,

I can't answer you, but the forum is going crazy with spam now, so your post might get buried. Please post again later in the day if you don't get many responses.

Bonnie

I know you can buy things to check the pressure (can't remember the name), but other than that, I really don't know. I bought a cheap one off eBay. I think cpap.com sells a better one and wish I'd checked there first.

Good question.

Pam

A manometer, ideally pressure check at 6 mo, that's why the DME has a licence to rape. But they still don't check it. If you have APAP that works the number doesn't matter as the machine sets the treatment. Jim
