Encore Pro 1.8 installation help

I received the software and infineer usb card reader yesterday. I installed it, installed the driver for the card reader, then plugged my reader in. My question is, I cannot find where to click on smart pro to start the program. There is nothing under all programs, and nothing on my desktop. Do I need to put my smartcard in the reader and the program will load automatically? Also, I did a typical install, but that seems to have installed some SQL server on my pc. So when I click on that, I keep getting asked for the server and the services, but when I click on the drop down menu, there is nothing there. Someone Please help me.

Encore is the program you have to start, the card reader works from within that program. In Encore Pro You have to create a patient file for yourself, then click on that file and a screen will come up you can click download from, then follow the bouncing ball.

You will end up with a file under your patients name, click on it, tell it you want full details. Jim

I installed encore, there is a file called respironcs under program files, but nothing under all programs. I cannot find anything to click on to start the program at all, but I do have a server icon running, and I don't know what that is for.

What machine do you actually have? Your profile shows that you have the REMstar Plus. That machine doesn't collect anything but compliance data (hours slept).

If installed properly, there should be a listing in your "Programs" which will have an "arrow" that will have another listing for "Respironics" which will have another "arrow" for "Encore Pro" which should have several items in it.....including the Encore Pro program.
I believe it should have also put an icon on your desktop for it, too.
