CPAP.com What's up with them?

Post by ddpelp » Fri May 04, 2007 6:23 pm

In late March I started my cpap therapy. Did not take me long to find this great forum and cpap.com.
I have bought several items from them. However, seems they have taken a bad/sad turn. I have sent two different emails over the last week trying to determine when they might have the Mirage Quattro FFM in stock have yet to receive any response so i assume they no longer want business. On other emails they responded quickly (within a day) so far my recent emails are 4 days old. Even if they do not know when they are getting them I woud think they might reply.
I do prefer them and assume they might have a slightly better price ont he Mask but...

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Have you tried calling? Perhaps they're having issues with their email server.

cpap.com are about as good as it gets at answering emails. Give them the benefit of the doubt else & if you can, take the suggestion to phone them.

But as DreamStalker says, have patience my friend

CPAP and email

Post by PeaceSleeper » Sat May 05, 2007 8:23 am

I have personally shot myself in the foot a few times with my spam filter, trapping email from folks and never realizing what I had done.

Perhaps CPAP.com has a similar issue---you may be trapped for some unknown reason in their spam filter and they have never seen your email.

I would kindly suggest calling them---they have been very responsive to phone calls.

Peace

Keep in mind that Johnny and perhaps some others from cpap.com were at that recent conference where they established a good dialogue w/Respironics about Respironics' recent decision to discourage the sale of their EncorePro software to patients.

Maybe cpap.com has been working at "half-staff" and just need some time to get caught up on their e-mail inquiries.

no they cannot blame the spam filtering as in the past, when they would answer emails, I have already set their email address up.. anyway no big deal I see others have the mask in stock ready top ship and I see the prices have already dropped from 239.00 to 209.00

thanks though

$209--wow, that's expensive. Think I'll wait till it drops a little more.

FYI - In case any of you ever go to cpapsupplyusa.com, I was told they will probably not sell the Liberty and Quattro. They said they don't carry many Remed masks, concentrating more on the other manufacturers. Now, before anyone accuses me of working for one of those other companies, I don't. CPAP Supply USA has a new, small board that a friend of mine told me about. I posted a question to them about when they would have the masks and that is the answer they posted.

Actually $209.00 is the price for the older UMFF so not bad some sites sold the UMFF for 199 but many had the 209 price so it is a good price as far as things go..

When you get this market figured out......let me know......

Last summer and before October 1 (the effective date for the big ResMed Internet price increase), I purchased four extra seals for my Ultra Mirage Full Face masks.....at a price of $66.30 each. Within the last week or so, I noticed that the seals are now $55 each. Before the price increase, the UMFF with headgear was $139.50 and is now $189.00.

I also should have waited a few more months to buy my last REMstar Auto, too.
(that price has dropped about $34)

Ya just never know WHEN to buy......

Den

(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

I called CPAP.com toll free, because I was confused about the Price/Timing of the new Auto CPAP A-Flex. They were very helpful and told me when to call back, re: the availibility of the new machine. I called back the next day and ordered it at that time. The lady I talked with was very sweet. Now, after only two days, the machine is at my UPS drop off ready to pick up.

I'm very happy with CPAP.com, especially since I'll be one of the first to try the new A-Flex option. Aside from that, I don't think any other supplier can beat the price of their equiptment. In my experience it's usually better to order and pay Credit Card by toll free phone than online. Especially for a Canadian buying in the States.

NOTE: A tip for Canadians: The local supplier my sleep Doctor sent me to wanted almost $2000.00 for a RemStar CPAP w C-Flex and ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. I obtained the new Auto A-Flex (Mask on Ebay) for half that price in Canadian dollars. My Sleep Specialist is not happy with me but since my US Family Doctor wrote me the prescription, who cares. I live in such an isolated area that all my support is by phone or Fax anyway.

I also feel that if one is prepared to research these archives, this support group can offer as much imformation as many Sleep therapists and technicians. After all, experience counts for a lot.

Gordy.
