nasal pillow

Post by menopause » Thu May 03, 2007 4:29 pm

I would like to see some comments about nasal pillows and the different kinds.

I am a new CPAP user and am not familiar with all the problems that can occur.

The Puritan Bennett breeze nasal pillow has been suggested to me. Anyone here use it???

I am using a mask now, but I have rosacea and it is making my face red and swollen. I am going to have to switch to a nasal pillow.

thanks .........

I have a Breeze w/pillows. Iwould like to trade it away.

Individual choice. I don't like it.

I do like the Nasal Aire II. Most people do not.

Individual choice.

Try it............you might like it.

Hi.

What are nasal pillows and what do they exactly do for you? Are they appliances so you can sleep in all sorts of positions, like say, on you stomach. That's been my biggest problem adapting to my nasal mask.

John.

John, if you are not a mouth breather, then nasal pillows work especially good for a stomach sleeper. One of the better ones (for stomach sleepers) is this one.

But you must be sure you are not leaking air out of your mouth. Otherwise, your pressure is doing you no good.

You need to determine how you want to route your hose ... over head or down towards bed covers.

You need to determine if you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or toss and turn from side to side.

Do you have a small, medium, or large head?

The answers will help narrow down your choices.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
