Need help getting data into Encore Pro Analyzer

Hi,
I have spent days searching, researching, installing and tweaking Encore Pro 1.6 and MyEncore only to find MyEncore won't work with this setup. I was so tickled when I followed the trail of bread crumbs (posts/links : ) to find there is a neato program called Analyzer.
It installed great, but I am missing one vital piece of information I need, whatever that may be, to make the connect between Encore Pro and Encore Pro Analyzer. Data downloads ok from the card into Encore Pro....but as you all know that is about as useless as a diaper on a duck -
Can someone please help, or post a link for me so I can bridge the gap from Encore Pro to Analyzer? I'd be EVER so grateful. Using RemStar Pro M Series and Windows XP.
This forum has come to my rescue countless times on just as many issues. My husband and I are both on CPAP and this board is my cherished reference point.

Wrong! There IS a version of MyEncore that works with EP 1.6.

(downloading it depends on IF and WHEN there server is up)

On the otherhand, Encore Pro Analyzer is also a good program.
You may have to PM "jskinner" to get the download for it.

Hi Wulfman,
You are correct - and I did download MyEncore from the same link you mention. It's that it does not work with my husband's machine.
My present problem is how to get the Encore Pro and Encore Pro Analyzer communicating - or whatever has to happen to get the card data entered into the Analyzer program so we can view it. I'm sure there is a simple solution but I have been unable to locate it so far in searches through the forum.

The only requirements that I know of for either of those "add-in" programs to work is that the SQL server has to be running, the Encore Pro database has to be there and that Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 has to be installed on the computer (this last one is at least true for the MyEncore program).

Once the data is downloaded from the card into the Encore Pro database, those two programs will find the data.

It sure would be nice if the companies would just cave in and make software designed for the user. Sighhh.

Not sure where to look now, .Net in several versions is installed, including 1.1. SQL server is always on with the Encore Pro.

Anyone think of anything else I can try..?

I think James Skinner wrote his Analyzer to work with Encrore Pro 1.7 and 1.8

Reason is MyEncore does not work with 1.7 and 1.8

MyEncore works with 1.6

When it works, you do not have to worry about linking the 2 programs..

So my suggestion is for you to download MyEncore and that should work together with your 1.6...

MyEncore works with 1.6

James' program (newest version) is compatible with all of the versions of Encore Pro. I have it working with 1.4.99.

Thanks, Guys -

There are no messages, no apparent errors as such. It's just that the data does not show up in Analyzer.
Was never able to get MyEncore to work, tried with it unsuccessfully for several days before learning about Analyzer and decided to give it a try.

Analyzer is there and it opens but no data.

I'm sure there is something I am not doing right, but have tried to follow all instructions and wish I knew what I overlooked.

If it "opens"......does it show the starting "Preferences" screen? (where it shows days, date ranges, user neme, hours of use, etc.)

...No - looks like the graph page, except that it's empty, nothing there to graph yet. There are options at the top, the usual 'file,' 'view,' 'help,' etc. Nothing that relates to preferences, that I can tell.
If I double click on anything I get the pop up page with the listings for that page. For example, a night's stats, or a trend. All the values are simply "NaN" and nothing more, without the data I which cannot seem to get imported to the Analyzer. I hope I'm explaining this adequately.

I appreciate all your suggestions.

That explains at least one problem : ). I'm not using MyEncore, I'm using Encore Pro Analyzer - or trying to, anyway.
MyEncore did not work for me at all, would not even open. Analyzer opens and appears to be functional - it responds properly to whatever I click - if only the data were there.

Are you putting in a date range? There are built in ranges like 1 week, 1 month, etc.
