Bonjour Diane,

Oui, je parle un français passable, même si pas celui du Québec ! Je suis une américaine qui habite actuellement à Paris.

Pour ce qui s'agit du traitement CPAP, je suis loin d'être un expert (étant moi-même traitée depuis le mois d'août dernier), mais si je pourrais vous aider n'hésitez pas à demander ; ce serait avec plaisir.

Bienvenue aux forums !

Wellllllllllll - I used the 'translator' for French, followed by Swedish.
My statement to be translated was:
1) Is this a private chat room?
2) Just having fun!

What did I do wrong? I was trying to joke that only you who are able to speak French know what's going on!! . The translation sure looked good to me, ha ha!!

If you want to check the "quality"of your translation, pass your translated text through the translator again, back to English... Oodles of fun (I need a life!)

I think someone wrote a short story on that... a simple plot/story translated via computer engines back and forth, back and forth (letting the computer change the narrative...) Never read it myself, but read about in in a book review a long time ago... As I said before, I need a life!

Xian, Yes you need a life, like the rest of us.

Maybe I will try the back into the translater. Good lesson for the kids on why they need to do well in school LOL.

Off I now get it. I was trying to figure it out in response to Diane's post. I thought my French was that bad.

Is this a private chat room?

Est-ce que c'une causerie privée est de la pièce ?

une causerie sp? could be a locker like at school.

la peice could be a room of a house
I can do this, I will do this.
