Trilogy 100 pulsing while exhale breathing

I am just new to having this ventilator. when I did the check with the distributor everything was fine.i am in hospital for hypercapnea carbon dioxide poisoning from heart failure and not having a working bi pap ended up in icu and am going on 3 weeks in hospital at this time. Just got this machine last night so I could finally go home and within a few minutes it started doing this pulsing thing that made my ears full of pain and I could not sleep. Respiratory staff came in but could do nothing as it was not their machine and they aren't familiar with it either. I tried for several hours to get this to work thinking there was a leaky gasket or something but to no avail. Does anyone have any info on how to fix this and also how to shut off the heated hose it was so hot my mask was stuck to my face and I was sweating and it was on lowest seettng? I cannot leave hospital unless I can sleep with this machine and was unsuccessful last night. The distributor will come by today so I'm hoping he can fix this but it is just awful. Ty for your time.

Not many members here that are familiar with that machine.

Your best bet is probably the distributor but even that is not guaranteed.
