ResMed AirSense 10 new but five years old. Okay?

Post by Physician » Mon Apr 20, 2026 11:13 pm

My insurance company paid for a new CPAP from a DME. It was in the ResMed box, looked new, and had zero hours use. It works well. After using it for three weeks, I noted the serial number of "xx21xxxxx" meaning it was manufactured in in 2021, five years ago.

Has this ever happened to you?

Would you consider this a problem, or just accept it?
