Upgrade to ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV?
I haven't kept up on the latest technology in regard to CPAP machines. Currently I have the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV. Is there a newer machine that is incrementally better than what I have now, in terms of effective therapy and/or reporting? Thank you.

Re: Upgrade to ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV?
Short answer: No.
Longer answer: Following release of the AirSense 11 CPAP/APAP line in 2021, the AirCurve 11 BiPAP and ASV line was released in 2024.
The new 11 series machines utilize an updated and more compact and lighter weight physical form factor than the 10 series machines. The new changes include a physically smaller blower motor and lower wattage power supply (which are also utilized in the ResMed AirMIni travel CPAP machine.) Some have reported that this makes the 11 series machines more noisy than than the 10 series.
The new 11 series machines have also done away with the 10 series' convenient right-angle rotating hose connection, and the hose now comes straight of of the back of the machine.
Otherwise, the machine features, algorithms, capabilities, and general performance are identical between the 10 and 11 series.
As a result, many longtime ResMed users (including me) continue to prefer the 10 series machines to the newer 11 series. Like you, I'm an AirCurve 10 ASV user myself. I'm contemplating purchasing an additional series 10 machine on the secondary market, for backup purposes, in anticipation that the 10 series may eventually become unavailable. I value my ASV much more, and use it much more, than my smartphone, computer, HDTV, or even my car, LOL.
