I used to use a Resmed AirSense 10 and it was great. I set the EPR at the max of 3 so it functioned like a BiPAP. I loved it and it worked fine. Then I bought a slightly used AirCurve 10 ASV and I absolutely HATE it because of the timed breathing intervals (called backup rate?) where it tries to force you to breathe at regular intervals. If I go into the clinical settings, the only options I have for Mode are CPAP, ASV and ASV auto. None of them seem to adequately mimic what I am used to using and what I prefer. Is there ANY way to get rid of ASV on this machine?
I heard it can be reprogrammed. Does anyone know how to do it?
I know the ASV is a fancier and much more expensive machine, but I really don't like it as is. Please help!

Convert Air Curve 10 ASV to auto BiPAP
Re: Convert Air Curve 10 ASV to auto BiPAP
ASV is a ventilator...Try to sell it and purchase the type of machine that you need.I don't think there is any way to convert it.
