Cpac machine
Cpac machine
Helio. Has anyone had the problem of your machine not properly recording your usage? Also, do I have to stay in one position in order for this machine to record my time correctly? My machine rep doesn't know anything and when I ask my Dr she says the machine may be malfunctioning. I've already replaced this machine once for the same reason. The current one does the same thing. Anybody have any suggestions?

Yes, people have had problems.
Why don't you describe the recording problem you're having.

Re: Cpac machine
My machine does not record my usage correctly. If I use it from say 9pm to 1am, I would expect the update to record four hours. It doesn't. The machine will stop recording the time, for some mysterious reason, and show like, 3 hours and 9 minutes. Why? I had the machine running, why does it stop? I try not to move but it's hard to lie stock still. This is torture, not a restful sleep. I am frustrated, angry, upset and my machine rep says there isn't anything she can do about it. No idea why it stops.
Any suggestions? I can't do this for the rest of my life.

Re: Cpac machine
Physically moving or not moving has nothing to do with the machine recording.
What is likely the cause is a "ResMed Day".
Resmed recordiung is not based on contiguous sleep. It's based on from noon til noon.
If a sleep session spans noon, the time prior to noon, is credited towards the previous days session, the time after noon is credited towards the following day. Then if you upload your data to OSCAR the partial "next" day will be uploaded, but won't be updated when the next session credited to the same day is uploaded.
This is further complicated, if the time/date/am-pm is incorrect on your machine.

Quite so. There's no need to lie perfectly still. It's not natural, and will disturb your sleep - but the machine can't tell the difference.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 4:12 pmPhysically moving or not moving has nothing to do with the machine recording.
I think Dog Slobber has hit the nail on the head. Check the date and time on your machine - make sure that it's showing the correct time, and - very important - that the am/pm are shown correctly. This is further complicated, if the time/date/am-pm is incorrect on your machine.
