Unusually high AHi readings on Cpap

Post by debdix1410 » Tue Nov 18, 2025 8:35 pm

Hi all!
I have been using cpap for several years now with mixed results. Lately though, I have been getting significently high ahi readings. They have gone from about 5 right up to 21 and 32! I have no idea why. I have replaced my mask and my filters, as well as slight changes to settings with no luck. I realise that I might need to take my machine into my sleep techs to get it reviewed but trying to avoid that if i can. Does anyone have any ideas? If so, I would be truly grateful.
I am using Resmed 11 with nasal pillows.
Thank you kindly
Debbie Dixon

Need more information please.

Like the composition of the AHI in question and some detailed reports to try to figure out if real asleep event flagging or awake arousal related flagging.

Also......are you sleeping soundly or having a lot of wake ups?

Medications? Anything new or change in dosage?
