Travel Cpap machine
Travel Cpap machine
Hello, I'm looking for a travel Cpap machine. I would prefer a Resmed AirMini but would consider others. Please let me know if you have one you are considering selling. Thank you in advance.

Re: Travel Cpap machine
If you get a travel machine, make sure to try it out at home for a few nights before taking it on a trip. The control algorithm will be different from home machines.
"It's not the number of breaths we take, it's the number of moments that take our breath away."
Cuando cuentes cuentos, cuenta cuántas cuentos cuentas.

Definitely try the machine for a few nights prior to travel.
I have a Breas Z2 Auto. It does make traveling light a lot easier. The therapy is decent, but a bit different than the Airsense units.
I had to use that machine for a few months when my first Airsense 10 Autoset was out for repair before eventually being replaced under warranty.
They are a bit more noisey than your main unit. I was able to get used to that, but some folks don't. One other thing that helps for me is to put a cloth over the machine, and in some hotels, I would put the unit in the drawer of the nightstand to help mask the sound.
My longer term usage was during the summer where my bedroom had a portalbe A/C unit that masked the noise.
The data may not be apples to apples, but with my Resmed units my AHI is usially in the 0.2-0.8 range. With the Z2, it was more like 1.2-2.0. Still respectable.
While there is a bit of a trade off, in my case it does make travel a lot easier which is worth it for me.
