First night, I couldn’t get past ramp up, for the noise. Moved my hose back to my AirSense 10. Next day, ordered a muffler. Lovely 3D printed plastic that won’t ever shed microplastics into my lungs, right? It didn’t help much, but I made it through the night. The humidity sponge thing didn’t do much.
Not wanting to give up yet, I tried smothering the machine with a pillow to see if that reduced the noise. It did. I also relocated the humidity doohicky to the machine end of the hose, hoping it would dampen some noise traveling up the hose. It did. Then I tried stuffing the whole thing in my nightstand drawer, with the drawer ajar of course. It’s still louder than the AirSense, but it’s tolerable. My throat is dry and raw in the morning.
Now, if only I could tweak the pressures. At its lowest setting, it’s blowing up my cheeks like a balloon. There’s just no need for that. But there’s no user-adjustable settings that I can find. Maybe my doc can send it a code, but somehow I doubt it. Anyone done that?

Try a white noise machine ( https://www.amazon.com/s?k=white+noise+sound+machine ) or load a free white noise app on an old smartphone.
I run one at a low volume. Very effective.

White noise is an option, I’ve also used earplugs, and sometimes sleep very well with earplugs.
