Resmed 11. Question about pressure report.
99.5% - 15.00
95% - 14.82
Med - 12.22
Min - 5.0
Here is my setting. It starts up a 5. Then ramps up to 7. Max is at 15.00.
My question is, if 95% of the time it's at 14.82, how could 99.5% of the time it be at 15.00? Shouldn't the 99.5% number be lower (than 14.82)?
TIA
Help me read my report data
Re: Help me read my report data
Do you know the definition of any 95% number?
Did you know that it means you were at OR BELOW that number for 95% of the night?
Were you thinking that it meant you were AT that number for 95% of the night? If that is what you were thinking then you would be thinking incorrectly.

No. Why do you think it should be lower?

Since I can't answer "yes" to any of these questions, I don't think I know what it means. Please explain them to me so I can be better educated on understanding this.

Re: Help me read my report data
This is something that I wrote years ago to explain the basic statistical meaning of average, median, 90%, and 95% numbers for a set of data in language that non-math types can understand: Average, Median, 95% numbers: A guide to those who don't remember their introductory statscabanalane wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2024 1:18 pmSince I can't answer "yes" to any of these questions, I don't think I know what it means. Hope that helps answer your questions about your data.
