Greetings. I’ve been using a dream station 1 without the humidifier or heated hose for years. I got the refurb done so it’s a fairly “new” machine now. I’m currently on oxygen for a lung problem, and the O2 makes my CPAP air feel cold. I pulled out a heated tube, plugged it in, and see no way to adjust its settings.
If you read the manual, on p10 it says my dream station will show a heat setting for tube automatically when I plug it in. But I only get the air pressure display. https://www.documents.philips.com/docli ... Manual.pdf
Is there a deeper setting or something elsewhere in the machine I need to change? The tubing is brand new out of the package and Philips breanded.
TIA.

Re: A little dreamstation 1 tech help — no heating parameter
I have never used the DreamStation model....only used the older System One models but if I remember right the humidifier must be attached to get all the available functions of the heated hose and humidifier.
Do you have a humidifier for the DreamStation that you could attach and see if that allows you to have the additional setting options???

You may need to get into the 'Provider' settings (clinical settings) where the 'Comfort' settings are located and the tube temperature. It's been a while I had a DreamStation and I don't remember if it was somehow available through the main User menu.
Accessing the Provider Mode Screens
Accessing Provider mode unlocks settings that cannot be modified by the user. To access Provider mode:
1. Supply power to the device. First, plug the socket end of the AC power cord into the power supply. Then plug the
pronged end of the AC power cord into an electrical outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch. Finally, plug the power
supply cord’s connector into the power inlet on the back of the device.
2. Once the device is powered, press and hold both the control dial and the Ramp button on the device for at least 5
seconds.
3. You are now in Provider mode. You can choose between the following Provider mode screens.
Note: Not all settings shown here will display on the device. The display will vary based on therapy device model and device settings.
TubeTemperature
This setting allows you to choose the desired temperature for the heated tube: 0,
1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. If you choose zero (0), this will turn off both the humidifier and the
heated tube.

As it turns out, you need the reservoir to get the options going. Not optimal but at least I know. Thanks for the replies.
