Bleep Dreamport Mask Solution

Post by jlsmithseven » Tue Jun 11, 2024 2:00 pm

Hi! SO I just wanted to notify everyone out there who is having mask/pressure issues for any reason. I was a huge fan of Bleep Dreamports a year ago, but I decided to use the P10 because it's easy to put on every night and it controlled my leaks just as well as the Dreamports. The prep time wasn't a lot but I just enjoyed going to bed when I wanted without any prep. So I have been having issues recently of my mouth drying out, pressures getting too high etc.

Well I just got the Dreamports again because I remembered how nice the airflow was in comparison to the P10. So nice in fact that I was able to lower my pressure needs down 1cm across the board. Instead of 8cm starting I am now on 7cm and it's so comfortable. I was able to set my range from 8-10 now , down from 9-11. My breathing looks way more stable at night and no headgear/leakage! If anyone is having issues with comfort or leaks, again I highly recommend trying this solution before throwing in the towel. I tried the eclipse several times but couldn't get used to the magnet force drawing the mask away from my nose. Good luck!

What's the "magnet force?"

BTW, I still can't understand why someone would want to glue a hose to their nostrils to avoid a little headgear.

ChicagoGranny, I had the same problem with the Eclipse. The pull of the magnetized connection does produce an uncomfortable tug on the nostrils, at least for some of us. As for why someone would want to stick a hose on their nose: number one reason for me, no mask leaks to wake me up; number two reason, no mask marks on my face.

I don't have mask leaks or face marks, but the headgear does flatten my hair on the very top. Had to learn how to comb it.
