Any way to make a heavy climate-control hose less awkward?

I have been using the Sleepweaver Feather weight hoses for a decade, on Sleepweaver masks and others including the P30i my wife is using now.
It will definitely work with any mask you can connect a slimline or heated hose to.

Thanks, that answers the concern I had expressed earlier. I will give the Featherweight a try, along with the new mask I ordered.

Correct. They are non heated.
About the best you can do is add a short hose cozy of some sort but then you lose some of the benefits of that hose like flexibility and not weighing much.

The p10 nasal pillow mask has an integral short hose.
I have had no need to cover the short hose, even though the bedroom temp
has dropped down into the 50's F, on nights when outside it has been in the minus teens.

Thanks for this thread! I have the same hose but I'm coping because it goes straight up from the top of my head via the N30i (yes noisy, "breathy", but my sound machine covers it) and then through a scrunchy taped to the wall. I sleep on my back and never move.

Use black photographic tape, sticks well but magically does not pull paint off the wall or leave residue. I also use this tape to cover all little green or red lights all over whatever room I'm sleeping in.

My very first hose in 2012 was so light and flexible, it never kinked or had a mind of its own. Then when I replaced it a couple years later, the new version was stiff and kinked, even though not a heated type. That never made any sense.

different strokes for different folks. i have to cover the short hose AND use a barrel cozy with my p10. and temp in the bedroom goes down to 63 or 64 overnight.

I was having similar problems to yours with needing high humidity and having congestion (for years). It turned out I had a fungal infection in my sphenoid sinus. Once that was taken care of ... Poof! So much better. Have a good ENT (Ear Nose Throat doc, also called Otolaryngologist) who specializes in sinuses check you out. It has been transformational for me.

Ps. CPAP user for 12 years. AirSense 11 new. AirSense 9 & 10 before that.

I have always managed my climate control hose by passing it over a pillow that sits against the wall behind my sleeping pillow.

The CPAP is on a bedside table to the right of me (as when lying on my back).

ie. I have a pillow on its edge leaning against the wall( like a headboard)

My sleep pillow is in front of the headboard pillow.

The hose runs across the top of the headboard pillow and comes down to my mask over my left shoulder.

The swivel on the mask deals with all my sleeping postures and I am mostly un aware of the hose.

Clamps to a bed post, can custom adjust height and direction, stable, and good build quality. I also hang my mask on it during daytime.

I want to thank folks for their excellent suggestions to my original question.

I did buy the AirFit F30i & am very pleased - in combination with a hose suspender (the same "CPAP Hose Lift System for Travel and Home" that I used back in 2012), it works like a charm - no more heavy hose tugging at the mask right at my mouth.

I also got bought the SleepWeaver featherlight tube, and indeed it fits easily onto the ClimateLine heated hose. I'm waiting for a chance to try that combination with my other full-face mask, the AirFit F30 - can't hurt to have a couple of different setups that work well for me.

Specifically, the hose I am wrestling with is the ResMed ClimateLineAir Heated Tube; but if you've had to tame a similarly heavy, stiff hose, your thoughts would still be appreciated.

I've used a hose holder to good effect. There are many options.

My tower model (base slipped under the mattress) worked OK, but the base broke off after 3-4 years,
so I got a replacement on EBay, small plastic piece with 2 'channels' on it, that the hose can pass through,
and they come with double-sided adhesive pads, so you can stick them head the head of your bed, and
keep the hose under control. Very inexpensive, less than $10 for 2.
