Struggling with Starting my RemstarPlus M-Series

I'm having trouble with my machine. Once unplugged it will take up to 100 times to get it started, trying to re-attach the bright silver half inch long, 1/4" wide cylinder electrical plug at the top on the back of the machine. Please, someone tell me how to fix this nuisance!

Time to consider updating your machine to a new model.
The M series Plus model has zero useful data available and was discontinued in the fall of 2009. It's quite ancient. They do wear out and fail. It's going to cost more to try to repair than it is worth.

But if you are hell bent on trying to fix it you might give these people a call...
