So I need to buy an Adaptor only? In Bangladesh they use 220 V line here in USA we have 110 V line. So should I buy adaptar that is convert 220 to 110 or 110 to 220 ? Pls help me with this .Thanks

No. Your CPAP machine will convert the voltage without any action on your part.

You will need a plug adapter like this - https://www.amazon.com/Ceptics-Travel-A ... LEQ58?th=1

call your airline to double check. i've never flown internationally with my cpap. but domestically, they say it's medical equipment and gets a special pass onboard.

so please call your airline to check that this is true internationally.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

That really depends on the policies of the airline you fly, but I've flown internationally a bunch on quite a few airlines and none have given me any issue. As Zonker said, it's usually allowed as a medical device in addition to your regular carry-on.

Leave it in the Resmed case. I think the airline staff are trained to ignore it. Once they see the CPAP case it's like they can't even see it.

You can, but it's taking up room in your carry-on. If you carry the CPAP separately in its case, it's medical and doesn't count as a carry-on.

BTW, they always make me open the CPAP case on the conveyor belt.

Bangladesh electricity is 220 volts - 50 hz, your CPAP will run on that without any special converter. You will need an adapter (a plug-shape changer), not a converter (a voltage/frequency changer). The same for you telephone charger and most likely also for any electric toothbrush that you might be bringing.

Note that four different plug shapes are used in Bangladesh, so check which ones you need, bring all four, or bring a universal adapter.

Also, check the reliability of the electric supply where you are going. It might not be what you're used to.
