headgear

Post by Johnb69 » Wed Dec 13, 2023 8:01 pm

Hello i hope everyone is well. i would like to try to make my own headgear. it’s not the cost. Resmed has those this attaching straps that roll up and dig into my neck/head something terrible. i thought about just tracing the headgear and making the attachment legs and back larger to avoid this. i can’t be the only one with this problem.

has anyone else out there discovered a better way. i must fuss with it while i’m sleeping and creates leaks. i notice when i wake and i’ve pulled it up or down (the straps) it creates leaks. so i readjust to stop the ge leaking.

thanks for your help

DJB

Have you looked at the Padacheek strap pad covers?

No...I have never tried to make my own headgear. I either added something from Padacheek to make it more suitable for me....or now I use a mask that has zero headgear.

Here's a link for Padacheek in case you didn't know about it.
https://www.padacheek.com/

You could also try contacting Karen at Padacheek and explaining your situation and see if she has any ideas or could make up something especially for your problem.
