My recent events per hour have been great. They are around one event part hour and I have even had .2 events. My question is, can you ever get zero events? Just curious.

I have had a handful--in 13 years.
Some get them more frequently--some not yet!

I occasionally have 0.0 AHI. But, it's not a goal.

yes, although i have to go through hoops to get there.

and just a gentle reminder that one shouldn't chase zero. applaud it when it comes, but then get on with your life.

Yes, I have gotten 0.0 many times. It's not a goal to chase or worry about though. I like when I see it. It makes me smile, but then I forget about it.

Have had 0 AHI a few times, but don't really care. Not concerned unless I see it going over 2. Less than 1 is great. Between 1 and 2 is okay, more than 2 and I start thinking about what I did or ate or drank the previous day that might have triggered that. There are some things that I do that are likely to raise my AHI, but I'm usually enjoying myself doing those things. So I don't think about it until the next day *smile*.

I get a < than 1 event per hour once in a very blue moon. I can't feel the difference from that other low scores. I was trying to correlate my Lookee Oximeter Ring reports to AHI scores but failed since the oxygen levels seem the same no matter what the AHI score is, but I may have given up on that project too soon.

After 15 years of CPAP use, I have wondered if very low scores may indicated the therapy is not needed. That is just wishful thinking, but at least it tells me therapy is going well.

Turn your minimum pressure down 1.0 cm each night and watch your pressure curve and AHI statistic in OSCAR every day.

Some people wake up enough to keep their O₂ levels from dropping significantly, but that wrecks their sleep.

My AHI is almost always under 0.5, but it's not because I don't need the machine, it's because it's working.
