Sill tired all day after cpap

Hi All,

I've been using cpap for last 3 months - Resmed Airsense 11 Nasal mask Auto setting pressure 10-15, i was feeling better (less sleep, less headaches) but recntly, i am having sleepiness and headache, tiredness (same symptims i had before using cpap) My Air score is perfect, i use cpap at least 9 hrs every day, little/no mask leaks. I reached out to my sleep doctor but no response.

I did carry my cpap machine in india where i checked in my luggage wondering if it impacted my resmed cap during the travel ?

I dont know what to do now and feeling hopeless, days are so hard and i can barely work, missing meetings, less alertness etc. i'm in san diego and it's hard to get an appointment with the doctor. I do have mental issues so i take bipolar meds - seraquil at night for sedetation but that should not imapct me as i have been on that med for last 2 years.

Any advises ? anyone in my situation ?

so that's for starters. and to follow up, we need to see some data from a free program called oscar. that software gives more detailed analysis than MyAir does. it will help the forum figure out what changes need to be made to help you get the best out of your therapy. please see this thread on how you can download the free oscar software-

I don't know what is causing your problems, but note:

Common Seroquel side effects may include:
dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness;
feeling like you might pass out;
lack of energy;

I do have mental issues so i take bipolar meds - seraquil at night for sedetation

I took low dose Seroquel (25-50 mg) as a sleep aid for years. Every morning I woke up with a hangover that lasted until nearly noon. I never got used to it. I'm very glad to be off it.

If you have questions about any of your pysch meds, there is a website called survivingantidepressants.org that helps people with all kinds of psych meds, not just antidepressants. They generally help people get off meds or get to as low a dose as possible, but you may also find someone who can help you sort out if your symptoms are related to a medication and can give you some moral support. Don't lose hope. You are not alone.
