Hey everyone,
Looking for some help on this one
Background: been on my cpap (Resmed 11) for a year and a half now. Everything has been going great until a few weeks ago. I normally sleep between 6 and 7 hours and get great quality sleep. My AHI dropped from pre-therapy of 65 down to 1 and normally my mask seal is less than 5 every night.
I have been running into an issue this month where I wake up after 5 hours (5 great quality sleep hours) having to go to the bathroom. After going to the bathroom I am not able to go back to sleep. I try and try and it just doesn't happen. I have been trying to limit how many liquids (mostly water) I consume at night....but nothing is working right now
CPAP has been great to me and I fall asleep and do not snore and do not move or have to pee 5 times a night. I know that 5 hours of quality sleep is way better than how I was sleeping without a CPAP, but I wish I could get a little more.
Is there any way to try and get another hour or so of more sleep?
Thanks
Only Getting 5 hours of sleep, but it's good quality sleep

You don't say if you're male or female, but if male, have you been checked for possible prostate issues?
Re: Only Getting 5 hours of sleep, but it's good quality sleep
try googling "sleep hygiene" which is a terrible name for it. it's a list of thing that you can try to see if it has any impact on your sleep.
it may or may not work, but i think it's worth a try.
good luck!

Also check for thyroid. My doctor mentioned low thyroid or overactive can do weird ass things.
