OT - I guess I'll just order a Canada Dry, then? . . .

Post by lazarus » Wed Jan 18, 2023 12:43 pm

In Canada, it should be Dry January all year round, according to new national recommendations that say zero alcohol is the only risk-free approach. If you must drink at all, two drinks maximum each week is deemed low-risk by the government-backed guidance. --https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64311705

Now I have this adorable image of a frog burping bubbles at me.

I wonder why "dry" wines are less sweet--but have the same alcohol content . . .

The fermentation process varies. More sugar remains in sweet wines.

Just give me a glass cognac and a good book. I don't need no drink that's dryer than my humor

If a drunk frog hiccups, does the noise come out as "ribbit?" :D

I have last been drunk in 1993, in Ukraine--on homemade rose petal wine.
Like drinking sweet perfume . . . I never expected the hangover.

Pretty sure 30 years means the statute of limitations is past. Even in Eastern Europe. :)
