Orange marking on resmed airsense 10 tube outlet

Hello, I am looking to buy a backup machine for travel. I have found an airsense 10. Where the hose connects to the machine has some weird orange markings. The seller says its "normal" aand have been "sanitized". I am wondering if anyone has seen this before and what the cause could be. Thanks!

Yup, my AirSense 10 for Her and AirCurve 10 VAuto has it.

It's a racing stripe. Comes on the sport model.

Both of mine have that too.

Little known fact that I just made up. The designer of the Resmed CPAP’s used to paint race cars for Lotus.

Somebody at the factory was tasked to find a use for several cans of orange color.
Nobody wanted that godawful tone in a visible place, thence the back.

THAT would worry me. if they ran ozone through it, it can have damaged the internals of the machine.

Use of ozone will void resmed warranty. Ask them about their procedures. Or better yet, get a brand new machine that did not need to be "sanitized."
