Need for pap

Hey all, last night I borrowed my O2ring to my cousin. Apparently she snores and had prior lung problems. Last night her onsite O2 was 97 but you can see her graph for last night performance. I wanted to ask your opinions, does she need sleep study....yada yada? Bear in mind, that graph's resolution is one minute and not so accurate and precise. Thanks guys.

Overnight O2 can prove someone should be tested, but it can't prove someone shouldn't be tested.

I think we're seeing the whole night here. Looks like "one minute" refers to the sampling rate.

An occasional spike below 90 would not mean much of anything; it could just be momentary loss of contact between the device and the human. But there's enough time here below 90 for me to think your cousin should follow up with an MD, especially if this is pretty typical for her.

She might start with her primary care physician. She should show the PCP her O2 results and mention that she snores. If she's sleepy during the day or usually wakes up with a headache she should certainly mention those symptoms as well. Then the PCP can figure out whether to order a sleep study or send her to the MD who treated her lung problems or....
