Resmed Serial #?

Post by ronragus » Fri Oct 07, 2022 11:34 am

I have ordered a Card to Cloud Autoset that starts with the serial # 2123222.......

It cant be manufactured in 2023 since we are not there yet, so its manufactured in 2021, with the first 2 digits indicating the year? thanks

Where did you get the number..none I have ever seen start with 21. They start with 22 (Australia) or 23 (Singapore).
Most likely its 2322xxxxxxx.

Usually it's the first 2 digits of the serial number denoting where the machine was manufactured.

Second 2 digits is year it was made.

Have no idea where you came up with the first 2 digits being 21....never seen that before.

At the risk of being rediculed again, I think I have the answer. ResMeds have 11 digit serial numbers. If you are given a 13 digit number, the first two digits (i. e. 21) signify a "Card to Cloud" machine with no modem.
Oh that would make perfect sense then

Around here, this can happen to anyone at any time. Eventually, you will grow to consider it an endearing feature of the forum.

if you substitute the word "ridiculed" with the word "challenged" you'd be closer to what i was thinking. can't speak for lazarus, though.

anyone else wondering, here is the thread-
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=185222&p=1422571#p1422571

"ResMeds have 11 digit serial numbers. If you are given a 13 digit number, the first two digits (i. e. 21) signify a "Card to Cloud" machine with no modem."

do you mean this as opinion or as a fact?

just curious.

I would describe it as an educated guess, not an opinion or a definite fact.
