One of the notes on my Apenalink study was:
"The entire recording was reviewed and edited by a RRT/RST/RPSGT .....".
In actual practice does a technologist edit the recording?
I'm supposing that the ApneaLink software counts various events, but as we have seen the software may have a tendency to count certain events that are potentially false. (for example an apnea that occurs in close proximity to what appears to be an arousal - that perhaps shouldn't be counted at all).
So in actual practice does the technician "edit or remove" those events?
