The Numbers - My First Round
I've been on CPAP for about 6 years now but just recently bought a new machine (AutoCPAP w/ CFlex) along with the Encore Pro software. Using MyEncore (a fantastic resource!) I have two nights worth of numbers to look at but am not all that certain what to make of it all. Here's the numbers from last night. Does anything of concern jump out at any of y'all that are more knowledgeable?

Your AHI looks great, cannot see where anything needs fixing. You only had 2 apnea and 3 hypopnea... why are you on cpap?
But some of that other data, I have to question its accuracy. Spending 117 seconds?? on avg. wouldn't result in a AHI that low nor would I expect you would be around asking any questions if they did last that long, that is over a minute and a half
What does the EncorePro long term summary report show (very last page of EncorePro report) for the same thing? Or are those numbers from it?
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

Total time in apnea of 235 seconds with only 2 apneas does seem very strange. Aren't there questions about MyEncore working with the current version of EncorePro? Maybe it's not displaying the data correctly.
Cheesy_rice - you might want to get EncoreProAnalyzer - it's the new and improved version of MyEncore. Here's the link to request it:http://james.istop.com/EncoreProAnalyzer/

I copy/pasted all that data right off of the MyEncore "Daily Report" screen. I have no doubt about needing to be on CPAP. I was a complete mess 6 years ago. The few times I've tried so much as napping without a CPAP since then have been disasters. Instant misery. I'll dig out the report from my Sleep Lab stay as soon as I can. I forget the exact number of episodes but it was high enough for them to classify it as "severe".
As for Encore Pro..... I've figured out how to dump the data in there but haven't had much luck finding any useful reports. When I click on "Reports" on the left side of the screen all I see are the following choices...
Multiple Download Complaince Report
FOSQ Trend
Patient Demographics Report

Re: The Numbers - My First Round
Your apnea durations are not good, cheesy_rice. I've used an oximeter extensively to monitor my own therapy and whenever I've seen long apnea durations like that, I've also seen significant desaturations in my oximeter data. (The longest I remember seeing was over 180 seconds, and I did not feel good the next day.)cheesy_rice wrote: Does anything of concern jump out at any of y'all that are more knowledgeable?
. . .
Total Time in Apnea: 234 sec.
Average Apnea Duration: 117.0 sec.
If I were you I would give Average Apnea Duration high priority when making adjustments. If you continue to see such long durations, then I'd also recommend you get a recording oximeter, so that you'll be able to see how significant the corresponding oxygen desaturations are. (The times will match up.)
Regards,
Bill
