CHRALS hose lift model S12

Post by CHRALS » Sat Feb 26, 2022 11:44 am

The CHRALS hose lift model S12 lifts the hose gently above you as you sleep. The unique rotary arm quietly moves the hanging hose up and down as you turn to eliminate slack and keep it out-of-the-way, so your sleep is not disturbed. The CHRALS S12 provides a very light pull or push on your mask using adjustable hose lift tension. It also optimizes hanging hose angle (head-to-foot of bed) using adjustable hose twist force.

I saw this and had to do some thinking.
OP joined in 2018 to promote his product...a hose management system.
Since this post today is only his second post and it is related to cpap and it appears to be a slightly different model...I decided to let it stand.

Yes technically it qualifies probably as spam but it is cpap related and he certainly hasn't abused the system with multiple posts.
And since not likely available at cpap.com....I decided to leave it as is for the time being.

Someone somewhere might want to give the product a try. It might be just what someone needs to iron out a problem and be successful with cpap.
Carolyn has let stuff like this slide in the past...cpap related and single post and not abusing the system.
So I will also let this one slide.
In the back of my mind I always think "maybe this product will benefit someone".

Eco-ish with all that wood ... definitely gives off a DIY vibe.

For some, it would be hard to get mate seal of approval

I'm intrigued, but I wonder how well this would work with the Bleep mask. What I would be concerned about is that it would exert too much pressure and pull the interface up or over, putting uncomfortable pressure on the ports. If the OP is around, I'd welcome some thoughts about this.

The Model S12 CPAP hose lift can be setup to let the hose hang down in front of you toward the foot of bed rather than pulling the hose up over your head like most hose lifts. This should be more compatible with the Bleep DreamPort mask. The lift tension is adjustable to allow a very light force on the mask - less than 10 grams (4 pennies) when using a thin 15 mm hose in the back sleeping position. Of course, there will always be some hose tension especially when you are on your side and the mask must support the angled hose weight. Amazon has a free 30 day return policy so you can try it out at no risk.

Hose management has certainly come a long way these days. For example:

If I didn't already have a HoZer I'd be interested. The design is well-thought out and I bookmarked it for future reference.

My setup cost less than 7 bucks.
It is stable, firmly attached to the wall, and has a radius of over 3 feet.
When I roll over, it swings around to hold my hose in the ideal position.

I wonder if @CHRALS would provide samples for some of us to review and provide feedback/Amazon reviews??

I would be interested in trying one...but I'm not sure I'm ready to hand out $50 for it.

The Bleep guy (Stuart) had some sort of hanger contraption he recommended...
