So I switch from an Resmed Airfit F-10 mask to an F-20 mask about a month ago.
It's been mostly ok. Some nights better than others.
The mask tends to shift around a lot more than my previous mask. This causes a moderate amount of leaks and wakes me up.
The top strap that goes over the head on the F-20 is not adjustable. I am bald so without over tighting the mask I can't quite get it to stay in place. If I tighten it up too much I get a sore on the bridge of my nose and the strap digs into my neck. I've also had more cases of "rainout" with this mask for some reason, but it's not too bad.
I like that the exhaust is much more quiet on my new mask and is not aimed toward my face.
I did some online searching and found Pad-a-Cheek makes a stabilizer strap, but it seems quite overpriced for what it is.
I also found a sizing template for the mask that indicates I should be using a Large instead of a medium.
I'm not sure if I should ask DME to send a large mask insert and/or a small headgear.
I'm wondering if anybody has any advice on how to make this mask work better for me. Thanks.
