I am new to this site, as well as new to apnea. I got lucky with my machine, a friend gave me a REMSTAR PLUS "TANK" and three mask(one of which is a new ULTRA MIRAGE that i love). I got into the therapy menu and set my pressure and ramp time thanks to a post on this site. The question i have is this. What are the numbers on the readout when the machine is off? Right now it has the numbers 0750.5. Just curious about that, I think I understand everything else.
Remstar Plus Question
You've got a good friend. I hope it works well for you as you get started in your therapy.
The number you asked about is the number of (therapy) hours that the machine has been used. If you have those instructions, I believe you can clear those hours so you can start over with your own. There should also be another set of numbers called "Blower hours" that you won't be able to clear.
Best wishes,
Den

Den, winds the prize, That number can be reset, but the blower hour number is the true use number and can't be reset. 750 hours is light usage.
You got lucky, it should run for years. Jim
