Just found out about the Phillips recall
I just found out about the Phillips recall, and I have one of the affected machines. I wasn’t notified by my sleep doctor or the DME I actually found out from my sister who happened to read it. I don’t use any ozone cleaners but I’m wondering if I should stop using my CPAP until I get an OK from the doctor. I registered my device but Phillips says it’s going to take a lot of time for me to get a replacement. Just wondered if anyone has any advice.

Re: Just found out about the Phillips recall
I was looking for a similar advice ever since I heard about the recall. I think you will find the opinions quite varied and most people who can afford it have moved on to a different machine, either permanently or temporarily (me included). My Sleep Center practice have advised me (in writing) to continue using the Philips DS machine which I did for a short while until I was able to get a older Resmed recently. I also did not use an ozone cleaner which made me more comfortable continuing to use it.
Everyone has their own level of risk they are willing to take, also on how they can tolerate sleeping without a machine. So at best it would be each own personal decision/preference.
