It sounds like he's so wet from DeNile he shouldn't be allowed to drive. 5 days use in 3 months, my dog could do a better job.
He need to walk for a while, and take the time to grow up. Jim

it is his own doctor that reported him, when he answered those entrapment questions as it relates to "driving".
How likely are you to:
fall asleep sitting at a red light for 2hrs waiting for it to turn green?
It is how these slime ball doctors in sleep medicine keep you coming back, if you don't let them milk every penny out of you and insurance they report your condition to the DMV.
Guess who at the DMV evaluates your condition? Yep, a group of doctors.
This is why I would NEVER take a MSLT and many times it is better not ever obtaining the diagnosis.
Bring back beans and we won't have people falling asleep at the wheel.

From what I read in the thread in the link, the gentleman hasn't been on his therapy long enough to even be getting full nights of sleep. It's far too soon for him to be complaining it isn't helping. (in my opinion) We all know it takes a long to for "most" to get used to this therapy and see any results. I've been at it since September of '06 and I'm just now beginning to count on full nights of sleep, and I honestly can't say I'm experiencing much, if any, improvement in any of the symptoms of the ailment.

I'm not a Doctor, nor am I associated with the medical profession in any way. Any comments I make are just personal opinions. Take them or leave them. (justa don't gripe at me if ya donna like 'em!)

As Paul Harvy Says, Here's the rest of the story, And I do read!
"I fell asleep driving home from work on the 18th, crashed my car, injured myself and the person I hit. The irony was I stayed home from work on Tues. and Wed. because of the snow and not wanting to risk an accident. Now my car is totaled and my license suspended."
I think this explains, why they want the driving stopped, not entirely with out fault. Lucky no-one was killed.
Most of us are guilty of driving while sleepy, but if this had happened to me, I would expect to be suspended or worse. Jim

Wow - that would be a nasty side effect of cpap therapy. I had not heard that before but now I will be aware. I do not fall asleep while driving so I must have answered that w/ a no - so maybe I am safe from the DMV.
Thanks for alerting us Oregonians.
