Resmed Adapt SV 'Low Pressure Check Circuit' Alarm

Post by john.michael » Wed Aug 18, 2021 3:14 pm

Last night after learning of the recall on my current machine, I broke out the old Resmed Adapt SV.
Seemed to work as well as it used to, but I got several 'Low Pressure Check Circuit' alarms. I'm thinking this may have been from mask leak? I cannot find my old manual, or so far, a good one online (just a product sheet).

Anyone know how I can confirm what this alarm means, what to do about it, and can I turn off the buzzer? It seemed to resolve itself after 30 seconds or so.....

Thanks,
John

That is an oldie.
I know nothing about them...sorry but you can still get the clinical manual
https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap- ... tup-manual

Go there and about 2/3 down the page is how to request the manual via email. They will email it to you as an attachment.
Just make sure to follow the directions and this is what you probably are talking about
ResMed VPAP Adapt SV

I think most of the manuals are auto generated. If people follow the directions it triggers an automatic response of sorts and usually doesn't take very long.
