AirSense 10 Autoset support

Post by davehouto » Thu Jul 22, 2021 2:54 am

Hi all
I'm pretty new to this so struggling a little. I've tried the full mask, and although it's very evasive, it works. However I'm currently trying the pillows and over the last few days have had to take them off as the amount of air being pumped in is too much so I've been looking at the settings and think I may have sorted it out, let's see tonight.

I'm struggling to connect the ResMed to WIFI so I can connect to the app to monitor. The machine shows a WIFI signal, I have 3 broadband signals in my house, a private one and 2 used for business purposes. I've tried all 3 and when trying to connect it cannot be located/connected machine to the app. Any help on this would be amazing. Also, any tips on the pillow usage too. I'm a mouth breather, and have been told the pillows should still be ok. Is this true?

It's not WiFi. That's why you can't connect.
It's a cellular transmission to MyAir website so you have to go to MyAir via internet provider on either phone or computer and see your results there.

Or see a lot more detail using available software.

welcome to the zoo!

what you're doing is what we call "dial winging" which means your making changes without getting data first. pls do as pugsy suggests and download oscar and post charts. oscar will display the information needed to make sure your therapy is optimized.

oh, i'm a "mouth breather' and use nasal pillows with minimum pressure of 18 and maximum of 20.

so yeah, it can be done.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

I also use a nose pillow. My setting range is 4 - 16, which works for my mild apnea. At times the air does escape through my mouth, though. It took me at least 90 days to begin to get "comfortable" with using a cpap, so hang in there.
