I am new to cpap. Have a resmed air sense 10 auto set. Question is eg turned it on last night around 9, took off around 3 a.m. now I need to nap on a new day and can not get it to reset it is just adding time to last night's profile. Does a specific amount of time have to pass in order to begin registering for the new days required quota which doc wants me to get...? Please respond. Today is ,/21/21

Clock
Re: Clock
The machine starts a new sleep session recording time at noon per the machine clock and you don't want to go messing with the clock unless it is set to the incorrect time per your local time.
Just leave the clock alone when taking naps. It will all average out just fine over the long term.
If you go messing with the clock sometimes you get in a situation where the clock can't be changed.
Recording sessions are Noon to Noon. If you take a nap prior to noon then those hours of use will go on the prior night's session.
You can't take a 2 hour nap say from 10 AM to Noon and have it be on the next days sleep session.

Don't worry about it, the time will average out.Ddeubert wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 9:33 amI am new to cpap. Have a resmed air sense 10 auto set. Re: Clock
Naps do count as usage, like any time the cpap is used.
Only Resmed has a resettable clock, a convenience feature that other manufacturers
choose to omit, as most are set for GMT at the factory.
A day is 24 hours world-wide, regardless of what time we call it.
